This section constitutes an interdisciplinary space to exchange ideas and perspectives about the imminent changes that the outbreak of COVID-19 has instigated to sanitary issues, as well as in psychological, social, and political level. Furthermore, this section includes open webinars with educational character on the effective and efficient management of the virus.

“2nd Webinar “COVID 19: Civil Society and Refugee Flows”

The MSc “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” of Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) organized on 27/7/2020 the second Webinar on “COVID 19: Civil Society and Refugee Flows”, in the framework of the project “Snapshots from the Boarders” co-funded by the European Union. In the Webinar participated representatives from Doctors of the World, the Greek Forum of Refugees, the MSc “Global Health – Disaster Medicine”, as well as the Hellenic Refugee Council and the NGO Solomon, discussing the next steps in the Covid-19 pandemic era and the management of refugee flows.

Webinar “COVID 19: Civil Society and Refugee Flows”

The MSc “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” of Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) organized on 10/7/2020 the Webinar “COVID 19: Civil Society and Refugee Flows” in the framework of the project “Snapshots from the Boarders” co-funded by the European Union (EuropeAid DEAR budget line). In the Webinar participated representatives from Médecins Sans Frontières, NGO Solomon, MSc “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” and the open community of volunteers COVID-19 Response Greece, analyzing how civil society organizations organized to manage the pandemic.
